Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 June 2026

MacroDawn measures how its site and app are used, for the sole purpose of improving them. This page explains what we measure, what your choice changes, and the rights you have.

What we measure

We use PostHog (hosted in the European Union) to understand journeys: pages viewed, button clicks, and the path from visit to sign-up and subscription. The goal is to improve the product, not to profile you.

We do not read the content of your analyses and we do not sell any data. No advertising is served from these measurements.

Your consent, and declining

We measure audience strictly anonymously and without any cookie (a temporary identifier that cannot be linked from one day to the next): this measurement stores nothing on your device. A banner additionally asks whether you accept measurement cookies — by accepting, you let us connect your journey (from visit to visit, and from site to app); by declining, or without a response, your visit is still counted anonymously, with no cookie.

Your choice can be changed at any time.

Data and hosting

When you are signed in, events are tied to an internal technical identifier (a pseudonym), never to your email or name. Your IP address is not collected.

Data is hosted in the European Union (PostHog Cloud EU region, Frankfurt). It is neither sold nor used for advertising.

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the following rights over data concerning you:

  • Access and rectification.
  • Erasure: deleting your account deletes your associated measurement data.
  • Objection and withdrawal of consent at any time.
